Summer has officially arrived in the states! When I think of summer and July in general, I think about camp outs and days at the lake. My favorite lake memories are of making S'mores and sitting around the campfire. When I can't make a campfire and need something to cool me and the kiddos off, I whip up this go-to popsicle recipe from The Recipe Critic.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups milk
1 package (3.4 oz) cook-and-serve chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup of crushed Graham crackers
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup marshmallow creme
12 popsicle molds with sticks or
12 5oz paper cups and 12 sticks or 24 paper straws
First, whisk milk and pudding mix together for about 1 minute.
In a microwave safe bowl, place mixture into the microwave and heat 4-6 minutes until bubbly and slightly thickened.
In the meantime, layer chocolate chips, marshmallows, and graham cracker into molds or cups.
When pudding mixture is done heating, let set to cool for 20 minutes, stirring several times throughout.
When cool, mix marshmallow creme into pudding throughly. Spoon mixture into prepared molds or cups. Place sticks or straws in each one and put in freezer for 3 hours.
Once frozen and ready to serve, take out of mold or tear off paper cup and enjoy!
Beat the heat this summer with this delicious treat.
