The highly anticipated second book in the
Dreamer Series is here!
Listen to what readers have to say . . .
“Legacy of a Dreamer was fast paced but DREAMS OF THE CURSED
blows it away. Ms. Jean’s fascinating world that exists within and beside ours,
often glimpsed out of the corner of your eye yet gone when you turn, is growing
in complexity. More of the history of The Fallen and The Contrite is divulged
giving rise to as many or more questions than were answered. The mythology
being created is engrossing, elaborate and evolving.
New characters are introduced while others, spoken of in Legacy of a Dreamer but unseen, are brought into the light while others aren’t entirely what I had believed them to be. There is a new character I dislike intensely. This characters selfish quest for vengeance and obstinate refusal to believe the truth before their eyes has possibly led to the untimely deaths of many I consider far superior to them. It’s impossible to reveal the characters name without giving too much away. DREAMS OF THE CURSED is so tight it’s difficult to discuss without spoilers. I literally flew through because there are no good or easy stopping points. The last third is especially fraught with tension. There were several times I actually commented aloud, “She did not just do that.” so caught up in the events playing out in my head I was “there”.
Honestly, by the end the air around me was a vivid blue as I railed against traitorous selfish characters, Ms. Jean for leaving me dangling for however long it takes to get Book Three out and near tears for those I fear are lost. Exhausting and exhilarating at the same time, excellent.” ~ Ivy D. Truitt
